Only 5 percent of the iron was lost to theic tailing 40.0 iron and 30.8 silica, although theic separator was overloaded because of the circulating load. The separation in the secondary flotation cell was not as effective as before and decreased the silica content from 4.0 percent to only 3.4 percent as opposed to the previous separations which had shown a reduction of 4.8
