Automated SEM study of PGM T distribution across a UG2
flotation cell, floatability is expected to decrease from the first to the last cell in the bank, before non floatable PGMs report to the tails. Further, since ~70 of the PGMs are recovered in the primary rougher circuit, sampling of the concentrate bank would be expected to provide the best opportunity for finding PGM grains.
